Fall 2025 Registration Requirement Changes

We have some big changes coming as we enter our 10th year…

 9 years ago MotionArts opened its doors in order to fill a need we saw in our community: a dance education program that offered classical ballet and contemporary dance training that focused on the needs and growth of its students. Our studio grew quickly and over the last 9 years the technical level and commitment of our students has grown along with our program.

 We are excited to announce that for Fall 2025, we are supporting and growing with our students and offering a new and more focused level of training! Our students will now be considered Academy Students with programming aimed at helping them achieve technical excellence while still focusing on the joy of dancing, creating and performing at an elevated level!

 All students enrolling in the Fall of 2025 will be required to enroll in Ballet. Once enrolled in the appropriate level of Ballet, they will then be eligible to enroll in the appropriate level of:

•jazz

•contemporary/modern

•choreography

•variations

•pointe (permission)

Ballet 3-4/5 dancers are encouraged (but not required) to take two ballet classes per week. Ballet 5-6/7 dancers are encouraged (but not required) to take three ballet classes per week. Our Attendance Policy will also be adjusted to make sure all students are participating fully in order to remain enrolled.

Ballet classes are considered à la carte if a dancer would like to only take once per week. We will still offer our Unlimited option for our most serious dancers who are taking unlimited classes! And our youth performance companies MAD Co. & mini-MAD will continue to provide additional opportunities for our Academy Dancers who audition and are accepted.

 We understand this will be an adjustment for some of our students but we are excited to take our dancers and our programming to the next level!
