Alice in Wonderland Revised Information
Alice in Wonderland 2020 Performance Information- REVISED
Our All School Filming of Alice in Wonderland will take place December 5, 2020 at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater. Dancers must be dressed, hair done, with pink, beige or brown mask and ready to perform when dropped off. Parents will not be allowed to attend the filming due to the capacity limit of 25 people in the building. All dancers must be checked in 5 Minutes prior to their assigned 15 minute time slot at the main entrance to the theater on Kirkwood Ave (if they miss their slot they will not be in the film). Dancers will be directly supervised by their instructor. All dancers will receive a DVD of the filming (additional DVD’s can be purchased through the school website for $10.00ea).
We will also Stream our finished performance via our MotionArts Dance Academy YouTube channel (a link will be posted on our website www.motionartsda.com) on Saturday, December 19th at 7:00pm- so grab your family and some popcorn and enjoy the show!

10:30-11:15am Company Warm-up
11:30am-1:00pm Company run through (See Order Sheet)
1:00pm-2:00pm Lunch Break (all dancers will need to leave the theater)
2:00pm return and set up for filming

Costume Requirements by Class: ALL COSTUMES MUST BE LEFT BEHIND AT THE THEATER AFTER THE FILMING!
ALL DANCERS MUST HAVE A NEUTRAL PINK, BEIGE, OR BROWN COLOR FACE MASK.
PreBallet: Girls: Pink narrow strap leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers, hair in bun. MotionArts will provide hair piece and black tutu costume to wear over dancer’s dance clothes. OVERà
Ballet 1: Girls: Black narrow strap leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers, hair in bun. MotionsArts will provide card costume/tutu to wear over dancer’s dance clothes.
Ballet 2, 3/4, 4, 4/5, 5: Pink narrow strap leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers, hair in bun. MotionArts will provide tutu and hair piece for dancer to wear over their dance clothes.
Ballet 3: Black narrow strap leotard, pink tights, and pink ballet slippers, hair in bun. MotionArts will provide dress to wear over dancer’s leotard.
Jazz 1 & Contemporary 1: Pink or black narrow strap leotard, black leggings (may wear over pink tights) black jazz shoes, hair in bun. MotionArts will provide hedgehog costume to wear over dancer’s dance clothes.
Jazz 2: Pink or black narrow strap leotard, black leggings (may wear over pink tights), black jazz shoes, hair in bun. MotionArts will provide costume.
Jazz 3: see instructor
Contemporary 2 & 3: see instructor
Lyrical 2/3 & 4: Black narrow strap leotard, pink tights, black leggings, and pink ballet slippers, hair in bun. MotionArts will provide butterfly wings and headpiece.
Lyrical 5: see instructor
Tap 1&2: Black narrow strap leotard, tap shoes, black socks if needed, hair in bun. MotionArts will provide costume to wear over dancer’s leotard.
Tiny Tap: Narrow strap leotard, pink tights, tap shoes, hair in bun. MotionArts will provide dress and hair piece to wear over dancer’s dance clothes.
